Program Overview

Your January in Prague program lasts three weeks and is designed for students from all academic backgrounds. You will enroll in one CIEE course taught at CIEE Prague. Enhance your experience with extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in Czech culture. Live and learn in Prague!

Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Prague will open doors for you to explore the Czech Republic's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.      

Samples of past excursions and activities: 

  • Sample local Moravian wines at a sommelier-led wine tasting
  • Take a day trip to Terezín (Theresienstadt),?a former Jewish ghetto and Nazi labor camp
  • Watch an opera in one of the amazing baroque opera houses

Please note: Activities are based on past programs and subject to change at CIEE's discretion to adapt to local circumstances and participant feedback. Our goal when arranging activities is always to enhance your experience.
