Program Overview

A destination for worldwide investors, Paris is a major international business hub with the most Fortune 500 company headquarters in Europe. A center of innovation, Paris is also France's local dynamic startup environment, perfect for budding entrepreneurs. Students may visit the world's largest startup campus and a startup accelerator specializing in creative industries. Paired with incomparable museums and monuments to visit and efficient public transportation to get you anywhere you need to go, Paris is an ideal city for students and young professionals to work and play.

As a global intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical, real-world work experience in the city's various startups, businesses, and industries. During your internship, you can expect to gain soft skills in communication, networking, time management, conflict resolution, creative thinking, and teamwork. Similarly, you'll immerse yourself in the local business culture, getting an insider's look at how the organization you're working for operates. Local internships are as diverse as Paris itself, offering opportunities for students in a wide range of professional fields located in the city's different arrondissements and suburbs. All internships are within a one-hour commute from CIEE Paris and student housing.

In addition to gaining work experience in Paris's thriving economy, you'll discover firsthand why Paris is known as the City of Light. Paris is revered for its art, history, and culture. From the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower, Paris has so much to offer!
