LFA Photo CollageThe Center for Global Engagement invites study abroad returnees to attend the 2020 Lessons From Abroad Greater DC-Virginia Returnee Conference.

Welcome back from studying abroad. Whether you returned from a short program or spent a whole semester studying abroad, you’ve probably got plenty of stories to tell and experiences to unpack. Even though that term is over, you can keep learning from your time abroad back at Longwood and beyond. Lucky for you, there’s a conference in Virginia to help you stay connected to your experience, dream up new ways of engaging internationally in the future, and articulate the skills you sharpened studying abroad. Interested in learning about post-college abroad experiences? Scholarships, fellowships, and grants? Teaching English abroad? Internationally focused careers? Want to swap stories with other study abroad alums from all over Virginia? The Greater DC-Virginia Lessons from Abroad Returnee Conference is just for you.

The Center for Global Engagement encourages you to participate in this great networking and development opportunity. The CGE is able to offer study abroad alumni a Longwood Lessons from Abroad Conference Award, which covers transportation, the registration fee, breakfast, and lunch. The conference runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. To learn more about the conference, visit: the conference website.
