Exchange Travel Grant
The Exchange Travel Grant is designed to support Longwood University students to study abroad with an
exchange partner by supplementing the cost of travel to the exchange program location. Students who plans to study abroad through a Longwood
exchange partner institution are encouraged to apply for a Exchange Travel Grant.
In order to be eligible for the Exchange Travel Grant:
You must be a current Longwood University Student.
You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
You must have been accepted to study with a Longwood
exchange partner.
You will need to research and detail expected travel expenses as part of the application.
Preference may be given to students who have a current FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office.
The Exchange Travel Grant may be awarded for up to $1,000 for full semester programs and/or $500 for summer programs in any given year.
Students applying for a grant for the first time may be given priority over students applying more than once.
This grant
can be combined with other CGE and/or Cormier Honors scholarships.
Priority deadlines for completing grant questionnaires is
November 15 for spring semester programs, or
April 15 for summer and fall semester programs. Grant questionnaires completed after the deadline are not guaranteed consideration. All grant decisions will be made after the applications close.
