CEA CAPA Galway, Ireland - Irish Studies
(Outgoing Program)
Experience an introduction to Irish Studies that incorporates elements from multiple contributing disciplines in seminars on key topics such as identity, emigration, and religion. Your time in class is enhanced by elective-specific field trips, dramatic performances, guided tours, interdisciplinary seminars, and other active learning experiences that allow you to gain a more comprehensive understanding of lessons learned in class. Founded in 1845, the University of Galway hosts 17,000 students on its central campus along the River Corrib. Attend class side-by-side with Irish and other international students for an integrated experience in western Ireland’s largest, oldest university. Students receive a transcript from the University of Galway upon completion of their program.
