CIEE January in Alicante, Spain
(Outgoing Program)
Spend your winter break living and learning in one of Spain’s most beautiful port cities, Alicante! Designed for students from all academic backgrounds, this three-week January program invites you to discover some of Spain’s most characteristic cultural traits by the picturesque Mediterranean Sea.
Outside the classroom, you’ll have many opportunities to explore Alicante with classmates and faculty, including exciting day trips and one overnight excursion. You’ll also have free time to immerse yourself in the sounds, culture and community of Alicante, giving you an authentic taste of Spanish life!

Visit important cultural and historical landmarks during an overnight trip to Valencia, Granada, or Madrid
Go on walking tours of the different neighborhoods of Alicante and its surrounding villages and towns
Play soccer and watch the local team (Hércules) win
Engage in fun activities and workshops such as bike tours, wine tastings, cooking, flamenco or ceramics classes
