Program Overview

Your January in Palma de Mallorca program lasts three weeks and is designed for students from all academic backgrounds. You will enroll in one CIEE course taught at CIEE Palma. Excursions & Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Palma will open doors for you to explore Spain’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of past excursions and activities: 

  • Learn to appreciate the flavor and vintage of wine during a visit to Mallorca’s traditional winery, Macià Batle
  • Try Mallorcan homemade almond ice cream, ensaïmada, or empanadas at Can Joan de S’Aigo, a traditional 300-year-old creamery
  • Explore the Natural Park of Albufera de Mallorca, the island’s most important wetland area
