WHY STUDY IN LONDON?
London is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world and one of the most popular study abroad destinations. A sophisticated city with endless cultural, historic, artistic, political, and intellectual offerings, it’s also home to many universities scattered throughout different neighborhoods. London’s excellent public transportation system will take you easily from your housing to classes and anywhere else you want to go. The city’s train stations, bus networks, and airports make traveling throughout the UK and Europe a snap.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Queen Mary’s campus feels a bit like a microcosm of the world, with students and campus staff representing upwards of 160 nations. This Russell Group university is known for leading research and a commitment to social justice. Dig into how to manage diversity in business, explore contemporary work trends, or tackle contemporary creative writing. Those are just a few of the classes waiting for you this summer at Queen Mary.

After class, high-energy East London is full of endless galleries, pubs, museums and art to explore. Ready to chill? Head to nearby green spaces like Mile End Park or find your favorite street food at Brick Lane or Spitalfields Market.

Choose from engaging summer classes in culture, liberal arts, business, politics, law, science, and technology to help you build a foundation of expertise. Learn through a varied mix of lectures, seminars, and academic activities and field trips. Study by yourself, as well as take part in group work and discussions with academic staff and fellow students. All of classes are taught Monday–Thursday with Fridays free.

ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS
Program activities and excursions are designed to enhance your intercultural competence by developing your understanding of the local culture and people. While optional, they are included in your total program fee. Activities and excursions vary each term based on availability, but may include:
