Program Overview

Become fully immersed in South Korea’s esports scene through a joint internship with Konkuk University and Gen.G, one of the world’s leading esports organizations. At Gen.G, get an inside look at the mecca of esports. Experience the exciting culture of the industry firsthand, alongside professional players and coaches. While interning at Gen.G, spend your summer earning 3 academic credits from Konkuk University and explore all of Seoul’s vibrant neighborhoods.

Highlights

  • The first esports internship and study abroad program with credits, open to all college students. Network with Gen.G staff and other esports industry professionals
  • Tour the practice facility of the one of the top professional teams in League of Legends, Overwatch, and PUBG, and the Esports Hall of Fame.
  • View live e-sports matches for games, Valorant, League of Legends, and Overwatch 2 with GenG
  • Experience the difference between casual gaming and proper esports by learning from and gaming with former pro gamers and coaches
  • Scrimmage with universities students in South Korea
